The Tanzania Human Rights Defenders Coalition (THRDC) has signed a grant worth Tanzanian Shillings Twenty Three Million Seven Hundred Thousand (Tshs. 23,700,000) with Pact under the Data Driven Advocacy. The grant aims to support and strengthen human rights activities in Tanzania.
The grant agreement was officially signed on 19th April 2022 and its implementation will end on 30th April 2022.
The funds will be used to support human rights defenders activities in Tanzania. Also in strengthening the work of human rights defenders including Civil Society Organisations and journalists through engagement meetings with the government and other relevant stakeholders of human rights in the country.
Pact is one of the major partners of THRDC and the stakeholder of Human Rights in Tanzania.
